The kart

OTK Kart Group designed the Viper Senior with the aim of offering a kart that is easy to handle as well as easy and enjoyable to use on indoor and outdoor tracks. How big is this kart? It has a length of 1,985 mm (1,060 mm wheelbase), a maximum width of 1,367 mm and a height of 645 mm. One of the Viper Senior's main qualities is its low weight. This feature has a double positive effect: on the kart reliability (if you want to learn more, you can do so on this page of our website), on the one hand, and on its performance, on the other. How much does a kart like the Viper Senior weigh? Approximately 160 kg in the version equipped with a Honda GX270 cc engine with belt drive (without roll-bar, safety belts and ballast support, which are optional). While the version equipped with the Honda GX390 cc engine, its weight is 170 kg.

Features

The Viper Senior is built entirely by OTK Kart Group in Italy (how is a go-kart built? Find out in this section). What is the Viper rental kart made of? The frame of this rental kart is made of chrome-molybdenum steel and consists of 32 mm diameter and 2.5 mm thick tubes. To ensure the right balance between solidity of the vehicle and performance, most of the accessories are made of steel and aluminum. Compliance with the different drivers’ build is facilitated by the adjustable pedals, equipped with foot restraint bulkheads, and the adjustable seat with reinforced structure. Karting safety is an absolute priority for OTK Kart Group: to protect the Viper Senior and the driver in the event of impact on the track, between karts or against walls, OTK has equipped this rental kart with a polyethylene outer protection, a polyurethane shock absorber and a column with integrated shock absorber. The latter allows, in the event of impact, energy to be dissipated, preserving the driver's upper limbs from injury. Standard accessories are: the ergonomic steering wheel, made of polyurethane and high-strength steel with a diameter of 350 mm, as well as, for karts equipped with a 4-stroke internal combustion engine, the 9-litre fuel tank with a petrol protection cover.

Engines

What engine can a kart like the Viper Senior mount? This rental kart is available in both electric (with engines specifically designed for karting) and petrol versions. As far as the latter are concerned, OTK Kart Group allows you to choose between engines of the Honda GX line, such as the Honda GX 270 cc, which allows you to have a Viper Senior kart with a power output of 8.4 hp and a maximum torque of 17.1 Nm. Or, to choose the GX 390 cc engine, which, although it makes the kart heavier, allows it to exploit a power output of 11.7 hp and a maximum torque of 26.5 Nm. Both Honda GX engines are available with an RPM limiter.

Optional accessories

OTK Kart Group provides a wide range of accessories and optional equipment to meet the different needs of indoor and outdoor track owners.
